Yes, the install script will drop it all in /usr/local/Acrobat5/bin/ Check your $PATH variable, it should include an item '/usr/local/bin'. You could put a symlink 'acroread' in /usr/local/bin to /usr/local/Acrobat5/bin/acroread so you can run it easily.
