I installed it from tarball and it installed in:
    /usr/local/Acrobat5/bin/

I symlinked it from /usr/local/bin/acroread to save altering $PATH.

Don't recall where I got it now, but it was via google. I prefer it to the 
other pdf readers I've tried.
