Hi, No, I don't think that this is a problem, it didn't work before I changed the permission (I changed it according to the PPP-Howto, to 740) so there is something else going on. The thing is that ppp doesn't seem to start up on the server, and I have no idea how to get it started. When I use minicom to dial in it just hangs up with a "NO CARRIER" message, although I know I have the correct phonenumber and it works without a hitch in win95.
