Hi,

I'd like to be able to login to a remote server via gdmchooser (XDMCP). I
have installed gdm on my client machine. The question is, in order to get
it to work, do I have to install gdm on the server? I have installed xdm
on the server, but I couldn't make them work. Are gdm and xdm compatible
enough? I think so; it's done via XDMCP, right? But they have different
ways of setting them.

BTW, in order to make gdm installed machines to be able to login to each
other, would it be as simple as putting all the hosts icons in
/usr/share/hosts? (like: a.b.c.com.png) I have enabled XDMCP in
/etc/gdm.conf, but it doesn't work.

TIA,
Oki
