See the many threads on this list about getting the Matrox G200 card working under Slink. I suspect that they apply to your problem also.
TNT is supported in 3.3.3.1. I don't know which server you should use though, I suspect that the SVGA server would be the one as that's usually where new card drivers get added these days.
