Perhaps my terminology was incorrect. When I said "console-based", I meant non-X. Like for example, Squake is, according to my definition, a console-based graphical game. So, maybe I should rephrase my original question: Is there any web browsers out that that don't need X-Windows that will allow me to access pages that have frames and more importantly, allow me to see in-line images, etc? I now know that lynx can see at least some .gif files (I learned that last night, sort of by accident); perhaps it can be configured to be more graphical?
