I once had an infelicity with an earlier version of Partition Magic: I was moving from one HD to another, and while PM showed both to have the partitions etc in the same order, in linux the orders were different. PM wrote the partition table in creation order (if memory serves), rather than sorted. No big deal, a couple of minutes editing fstab, but odd. As others have pointed out, it's probably better anyway to use PM to make yourself some space, and then create the partition from Linux. Jiri <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
