Upon installing Debian 2.0 on my Satellite 205CDS laptop (slowly getting rid of NT everywhere!), this laptop, pretty much every 5 minutes, whips out a bunch of error messages relating to /sbin/getty, then suddenly tells me its going to "wait for 5 minutes".
I'm not sure where this comes from, as I didn't install getty or mgetty. I know this relates to the modem somehow, but this occurs irregardless of whether I use the PCMCIA modem or not. Any ideas would be really appreciated.
