Hi Have you tried pac, the printer accounting utility? Do a "man pac" do get some additional information. As far as I know, pac is part of the default Debian installation. Here is an excerpt from the pac man page:
------------------------------------------------------- NAME pac - printer/plotter accounting information SYNOPSIS pac [-Pprinter] [-c] [-m] [-pprice] [-s] [-r] [name ...] DESCRIPTION Pac reads the printer/plotter accounting files, accumulating the number of pages (the usual case) or feet (for raster devices) of paper consumed by each user, and printing out how much each user consumed in pages or feet and dollars. ---------------------------------------------------------------- -Ossama -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
