Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there has a print quota system running, and
if they could give me some advice on how to set one up. Is there a
package that can do this?
Also, does anyone know how to count the number of pages in a print job. I
can try and do this by interpreting the postscript, but I have heard that
this can be done by communicating with the printer (obtaining the total
page count before and after the job, and using the difference). If anyone
has information on this I would really appreciate it. The printer we are
using is a HP LaserJet 5M (postscript), and it has a jetdirect so that it
appears as a remote print spooler.
