I have a cheap camera that works both as a webcam and a still camera. So I can use it both with xawtv and gphoto2. The problem is, when I plug it in USB, stv* modules are loaded automatically. These modules prevent gphoto2 from working.
Root can rmmod those modules, but I need to find a way for ordinary users to use this camera alternatively as a webcam or with gphoto2.
