If you look you will see that dhcp-client is version 2 and
dhcp3-client is version 3.  So dhcp3-client replaces dhcp-client.  It
is a newer version of it.  Version 2 has some serious bugs which are
fixed by version 3.  Use version 3.  By comparison with version 2 the
alternative 'pump' looks very good.  :-)
