if you want to send "free" fax over the internet ( adsl ) connection
than probably not
- if you and the other end has voip setup, than you
can probably send free faxes to japan or eu or anywhere
faxes are good for signatures ... but otherwise, faxes
died long ago when people can email and print it locally
if you want to send faxes with the fax modem on your rs232 ports,
than thats trivial to send faxes by the thousands if you wanted
there's even a fax-howto
