yes. thanx for pointing me to it. so, now my setup will be exim + pop3browser + fetchmail + procmail? on windows it used to be *only* outlook!!While doing some admin box on a debian machine at work I found a pop3browser package and the description matches what you want.

not only mua - the whole system! and while i agree chances of virus are low on linux, there still remain *some* chances!and (2) your MUA is so buggy that a virus will get to it (welcome to Linux).
