Then I am a bit confused. But the this bug is solved for me then. Sorry for off-topic, but if you have a bit of time, could you come by this issue: https://github.com/lxde/lxqt/issues/572 and correct some misconceptions or share any useful info that may help build theming configuration frontend (and backends) the proper way.
