As explained earlier in this bug, style ≠ theme. Though the gtk2 theme will (in Qt ≤ 5.6) set the correct style for you too (so only the second variable should be enough). Also if Qt could detect your desktop as GTK+-based, then even that variable would not be needed. -- Dmitry Shachnev
