Dear Maintainer, I tried to install KDE in the minimal installation option. I uninstalled zutty because it is not part of the kde programs. I was expecting zutty not to be installed, and this behavior is somewhat annoying. Many users complain that debian ships a lot of unnecessary packages, even in a minimal installation. I and many users will be grateful to debian maintainers if they remove zutty and other redundant packages from desktop metapackages so that they don't have to be removed manually. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.9 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-27-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages kde-plasma-desktop depends on: ii kde-baseapps 4:22.12.3+5.142 ii plasma-desktop 4:5.27.5-2 ii plasma-workspace 4:5.27.5-2+deb12u2 ii udisks2 2.9.4-4 ii upower 0.99.20-2 Versions of packages kde-plasma-desktop recommends: ii kwin-x11 4:5.27.5-3 ii sddm 0.19.0-5 ii xserver-xorg 1:7.7+23 Versions of packages kde-plasma-desktop suggests: ii kdeconnect 22.12.3-1 -- no debconf information
