Hello, after a recent upgrade on version 1:2.4.0-3 I see this behaviour (cf. #28 in this bug report) now as well. This particular machine was installed during the Etch development cycle and I've never touched something related to StarBasic (though I've worked on quite a few different .doc documents).
It did not appear bevor the update.
This is an up-to-date (testingwise) ppc machine.
Since there is no local change in this area, the package system should
deal with it (it's clearly something going wrong during uprade).
Do you want me to try the fix mentioned in #45 of this bug report or
should I wait for some tests on your side?
(Since I only use this machine when traveling, I can leave it in this
state for a while).
