I had a look at the upstream development version that includes the CUPS support too, and discovered that the 'Add a printer' option is grayed out on my CUPS system. So that is the problem with my backport - I didn't add the code to gray that feature out when using CUPS. So how do you add a queue for a program like kprinter? Choose 'Connect a PDF converter' instead of 'Add a printer', and enter kprinter as the command line. I confirmed that this works in the Debian packages too. I will work on a patch to disable 'Add a printer' when CUPS is enabled. Chris
