Thanks for your explanation. I now see that it all goes on one screen when I maximize the xterm.
However, isn't it odd to have two questions in a row on the same screen: "Should OpenOffice.org be prelinked? Prelink OpenOffice.org binaries?" I can't recall any other Debconf dialogue where you get the same question twice in a row like that. I don't see how one question conveys any more than the other. Couldn't you just have one?
