As noted in #1092719, mame failed to build on the mips64el buildds
since 2024-12-07:
> gcc -o ../../bin/linux/genie [...]
> collect2: fatal error: cannot find ‘ld’
I don't know what's going on here.
If the mame maintainers are not particularly interested in keeping it
working on mips64el, I think the way to resolve this would be to ask
for it to be removed from mips64el, as Jeremy suggested in #1092719,
at which point this bug's severity could be downgraded to non-RC.
