Support for gccgo would be nice as GCC supports more ports architectures than golang. However, gccgo still lacks support for generics, which is why it is practically useless for now (and probably the reason why Go upstream frowns on it). Hopefully, this will change, though.Basic question that is probably obvious to everyone: what is the reason for the desire to support gcc Go? When talking to some Go upstream projects (especially security-related) they frown when they hear about use of gccgo.
