Dear all,

a brief clarification regarding my call for volunteers for the Data
Protection Team.

I am very happy about the overwhelming interest in principle, and I
greatly appreciate everyone who has reached out. However, I have
received many private replies from non-DDs, and I unfortunately cannot
handle individual follow-ups for requests that cannot result in a
delegation.

As mentioned in my Bits from the DPL, delegations are made to Debian
Developers. Once a delegated team is in place, it will be up to that
team to decide if and how non-DDs can be involved. I would be very happy
to see the work spread sensibly across many shoulders.

Kind regards
  Andreas
