Oh! Yes, that would be incredibly helpful to me too. That's a great idea.
This has been implemented in the Package Tracker. :)
One oddity: for teams maintaining multiple packages in the same repo
(mainly the Haskell Team comes to mind), the open merge request action
item will show up for every package currently.
