As I wrote in the presentation, packaging new stuff is not part of our current goals. That might change based on who joins the team, but for now we would rather focus, in that order, on: 1. Documenting what is already there; 2. Proposing patches to have packaged logging daemons all behave in a similar way by default; 3. Maybe packaging new stuff, but only when the documentation and configuration of current stuff is already top notch. For these specific tools, I’m not even sure how they fit with logging daemons. Aren’t they more some kind of search engines?
