It doesn't follow from the presence of a bug (even a design bug, even one that really really super annoys you) that design principles aren't in place. In any case, doesn't that dh_movefiles bug actually prove Steve's point? You were able to stick with the behaviour you wanted by continuing to use an older compat level, which means that things weren't changed on you retroactively. -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org]
