Your answer to the question raised seems to be "no", but you seem to not volunteer to do the work implied by that response (package and maintain a library). Instead, you seem to imply that work should be done by those who made a wrong choice by favoring one branch over the other - i.e. those who've clearly demonstrated through their active work that they have little if any interest in that particular work.
