Thanks for the reply. I tried again just now; but no luck. Here's what I got. "$ reportbug linux-image-2.6.38-1-amd64 ... Querying Debian BTS for reports on linux-2.6 (source)... Unable to connect to Debian BTS; continue [y|N|?]?" Using a longer timeout option such as --timeout=300 doesn't help. On the other hand, "$ reportbug reportbug ... Querying Debian BTS for reports on reportbug (source)... 151 bug reports found: ..." Don't know if it's related to one particular package (linux-2.6) or the BTS itself. I found a similar past bug report #571955 and also the fix which introduced the --timeout option. If there's any further testing I can help, please let me know.
