You mean useless functions like those only wrap standard functions and
add no value except a (build-)dependency to libglib? Very exciting.
There may be lots of useful stuff in libglib but some may only be
useful as portability wrapper (but some not even for that). Get rid of
all of those and I may agree. I fully disagree for using libglib as
wrapper around libc.
