* Package name : camlp4s Version : 4.03 Upstream Author : Daniel de Rauglaudre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://cristal.inria.fr/~ddr/camlp4s/ * License : BSD Programming Lang: OCaml Description : Pre Processor Pretty Printer for OCaml - classical version Objective Caml (OCaml) is an implementation of the ML language, based on the Caml Light dialect extended with a complete class-based object system and a powerful module system in the style of Standard ML. . CamlP4 is a Pre-Processor-Pretty-Printer for Objective Caml. It offers tools for syntax (Stream Parsers and Grammars) and the ability to modify the concrete syntax of the language (Quotations, Syntax Extensions). . This package contains the "classical" version of CamlP4 executables and libraries for pre-processing and pretty-printing OCaml sources both interactively and in a batch fashion. The "classical" version is the implementation of CamlP4 which used to be distributed with OCaml before the release of version 3.10. This version of CamlP4 is already distribute in Debian as part of OCaml (<< 3.10). Starting from 3.10 (currently available in experimental, but targeted at Lenny) the shipped version of CamlP4 was reimplemented and is not backward compatible with the previous one. Hence the former author of CamlP4 started distributing his implementation (the "classical" one) under the new name of CamlP4s. This ITP targets that classical version. Question time: the license is BSD, but is not identical to the text I find in /usr/share/common-licenses/BSD as the Copyright is different (INRIA vs Universify of California). Can I point to our license file in debian/copyright nonetheless, given that we have a specific copyright "field" in such file? Cheers. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
