oy... if that's true, it's indeed not a good thing.
imho the real fix for this is the same as the fix for popcon: stop
relying on a local MTA and instead use HTTP POST's by default. of
course this means we'd need to have small cgi somewhere to act as
a POST<->SMTP gateway, but that's not exactly the most complicated
thing in the world to put together. maybe we already have one?
it's a shame this is coming up now though.
