What is the defined interface for the virtual package?
This is a intended as a real question, not a snipe. There was a problem
several months ago with the Nagios script that calls ping; it worked
with one of the pings in Debian but not the others, and which it worked
with depended on which was installed when nagios was built.
There's an ongoing problem in Debian with declaring virtual packages
without ever defining the actual interface required.
