No idea about this. Didn't even look, but then glibc used to run on closed source solaris, so, even if it doesn't take full advantage, there should be possibilities there. Ok, but this is not what has been floating around, either here, or on the open solaris mailing lists. I mostly see wild claims and plain FUD and such. Sure the fact that there is many folk on that list with deeply ingrained GPL/Linux resentment over the success of them, doesn't help much.
