The constitution also states that no developer can work actively against the implementation of such a decision made by the project[0]. Not doing the work and not letting anyone else do it would constitute 'working actively againt'. I don't think that's a reason to ask that you be replaced; you haven't done such a thing. I do reject such a control over what I do for Debian, also, btw. See ya, [0]: Nothing in this constitution imposes an obligation on anyone to do work for the Project. A person who does not want to do a task which has been delegated or assigned to them does not need to do it.
