While I don't run an official mirror, it is public (due to my laziness) for debian/sarge on x86/ppc and a "testing" AMD64 mirror. And I am just wondering why anyone would use RAID in a mirror for. RAID provides for the security of your data in case a disk fails (and occasionally performance boosts). But... its already a mirror... if my drives die, I just run debmirror.... The mirror will be gone for a bit, but thats not a huge loss (Usually). I guess if the network is expensive then thats an issue. But if the network is expensive why are you running a mirror in the first place? -- ------------------------------------------------------ | Josh Lauricha | Ford, you're turning | | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | into a penguin.
