Clear from context, I'd say, no need to nitpick :) > It's surely possible to put it back if the removal was bad, right? Sure, but it's always a bit more tedious. In this case, it would also have been possible to drop stuff from sarge first, and leave the removals standing for a while, otoh, once a removal is requested, usually there is already some time of orphaning, and people who care about a package really should adopt it if they are attached to it. A pending removal request can serve as an extra wake-up call though, and people will more easily look into whether to adopt it, in order to save it. Especially when a maintainer requests removal, and apparantly misjudges the amount of users, having a week or two to be able to react and object is a good thing in general. --Jeroen -- Jeroen van Wolffelaar [EMAIL PROTECTED] (also for Jabber & MSN; ICQ: 33944357) http://Jeroen.A-Eskwadraat.nl -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
