32-bit SPARCstations are not fast enough to keep up with the archive, and in fact are incapable of building some source packages that require 64-bit syscalls to be present. An Ultra1 may or may not be fast enough to be useful for Sparc; vore, which is borderline on being able to keep up with unstable on its own right now, is an Ultra2 300MHz. I have no idea what reasonable specs would be for an ARM buildd, as I don't think we have any machines to compare it to which would count as "reasonable" under the proposed rules for release archs. -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
