The oldest opened bug in Debian turns 10 years old in approximately 40
days. Bug #725 is on the twm package, submitted by Ian Jackson on
Sunday the 2nd of April, 1995. Currently owned by the X-Strike Force,
it is tagged normal, upstream, it was last updated Sat, 26 Jan 2002
when some kind soul updated Ian's email address for the bug.

Ian Jackson wins with the 2nd and 3rd place bugs:
#825: trn 825 798575581 forwarded [EMAIL PROTECTED] normal
#957: dpkg 957 802533782 open [EMAIL PROTECTED] wishlist

Followed, in fourth place, by the classic dselect bug #1555 which
apparantly isn't a bug, according to the author, "This isn't exactly a
bug report" and details something that we've all said at some time or
another, "... still find the keybindings to be awkward. Since this is
probably just a matter of personal taste, could dselect be modified to
get its keybindings from a config file (e.g., /etc/dpkg/keybindings)???"
