The "old" oregano version (gtk-1.2) description says:
 Oregano is an application for schematic capture and printing of
 electrical circuits. It can also be used for simulations if you have
 Berkeley Spice.

The newer versions of oregano (gtk-2.x), add support for gnucap and
ngspice, both included in the Debian archives.

So, I really don't see where the bug is.
