The other issue that is implied on this list: What if a package is legal to distribute in USA but not other countries? *If* this is a problem, could we have a list of packages (or something similar) that can be distributed in each country? So if you wanted to create a Debian CD and freely distribute it in country XYZ (which makes distribution of vi to adults a capital offense) you could do so by using a list that removes all illegal programs (in this case all versions of vi) when creating the CD. Note: this wouldn't stop you from downloading illegal content, it would make it possible to distribute Debian legally in the given countries. Just a thought. -- Brian May <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
