Hmmm weirdo. I no more ship manual.html in the package because upstream no longer maintain it. And the package no more provides the /usr/share/doc-base/pv file too. (The pv package doesn't have a postinst script anymore). I can't reproduce this bug on my system. Maybe this is related to a specific doc-base package version ... Can you tell me your version of doc-base ?
