Ok, well if that's the only argument, then it's not release-critical.  I
might still consider accepting such a fix for etch depending on time
available and how straightforward the provided solution is, but the
reverse-dependencies of libbrlapi1 are not so numerous that a /non/-smooth
library transition for lenny would significantly handicap us.
