Back in 2002, I had to track down the author by phone (his previous employer gave me his contact info at his then-current employer), and I don't remember much came out of it. There was a mailing list, but I also don't have traces of much coming out of it. I see a single post from 2005 about using the dictionary. To say I have become quite inactive in Debian is also quite an understatement. You have my blessing to do what is good.
