The package in unstable can be built for stable as long as its version contains a ~bpo thing. That could be changed to also support fto. But the bigger problem is that it requires new versions of rustc, cargo and cbindgen, which in turn requires a new version of llvm. And it requires new versions of these quite regularly. So, no, I'm not really interested in maintaining that. Mike
