I patched Build.PL like:
-my $ver2func = do(catfile(qw/inc ver2func/));
+my $ver2func = do('./' . catfile(qw/inc ver2func/));

This doesn't work for me, I run into
perl Build
Can't find appropriate bindings version, check 'xs' directory, it should
contains bindings with version <= current GSL version (2.5) at
inc/GSLBuilder.pm line 93.
(from inc/GSLBuilder.pm).
But the good news is that I found another way to force a swig
rebuild:
