Package: kernel-package Version: 9.008 Followup-For: Bug #343363
Twice in a row since I have updated to linux-image-686-2.6.15-1, my system has been rendered unbootable due to initrd problems [1,2]. Both times, I successfully got rid of these problems through mkinitrd.yaird. The second problem happened without my upgrading any package related to the kernel. Both times, the problem has been diagnosed by joss (aka Josselin Mouette) as related to initrd-tools. Suggestion : make yaird the default program for building 2.6.15 initrd images, until initrd-tools has been fixed.
