Dear bug reporters and submitters, I have to admit that horrible mistake within the wrapper script that causes a not starting Thunderbird application in case the profile folder is already migrated to .thunderbird was made be me.
I don't know how this peace of code has made it into the upload as the comments in the lines 197 -198 were only made for local tracking of the various things. Be sure not only me but also some other people have also done really a lot of testing and of course also have tested the case there the user only has .thunderbird folder with the profile(s) in there. I'm not a software engineer and try to help maintaining the icedove package in my currently only spare free time. So errors will sometimes happen but those issues are not intentionally. Sorry, that was an inadvertent mistake and I'm sorry about potential inconveniences. I appreciate any help in fixing outstandig issues! So keep on reporting issues. Regards Carsten
