Package: bootcd-mkinitrd Version: 2.51 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable

While it looks like, that bootcdmkinitrd worked, CDs created with this inird do not boot and result in a kernel panic. It does not find the CD during the boot process, even if I explicitly state at the beginning its location (hda). The missing usbcore.ko creates problems for uhci_hcd during boot. On my system usbcore.ko is found under /lib/modules/2.6.12-1-386/kernel/drivers/usb/core/usbcore.ko . I tried to link (symbolic and hard) to it from /lib/modules/2.6.12-1-386/kernel/drivers/usb/usbcore.ko , but this did not work. I think the solution is simple: add /lib/modules/2.6.12-1-386/kernel/drivers/usb/core/ to the search path of bootcdmkinitrd.
