Package: mediawiki
Version: 1:1.27.1-2~bpo8+1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
Today I installed a pending upgrade for mediawiki, leaving my system in a
complete mess: obviously, the upgrade breaks mediawiki-extensions, from which I
used several and specifically the Ldap-authentication. I understand, that the
former extensions are now partly included in the mediawiki package, right?
Shouldn't there be a note how to configure the system to work again after
breaking it by this upgrade?
Regards,
Thomas

I understand, however I simply cannot commit to maintaining them at a
level I would consider satisfactory. And many of those extensions
don't have active upstream maintainers either. :( So it's not really
feasible for me to take on right now.
