On a related note, 'sudo vi <anyfile>' now complains about not being able to open $HOME/.viminfo when I exit vi and requires a carriage return to acknowledge. I had to go out and research that I need to add "Defaults env_reset" to my sudoers file -- this seems like breakage for a stable release.
